Let’s embrace the week and share our hope for a world free of MS. There are ways to spread awareness both big and small. You can start by sharing what MS means to you via the MS = campaign that will populate social media channels including on our Facebook page that week. Check it out. Here also are other easy ideas for the week: - Wear orange to work, while you exercise or while you are doing errands
- Register for Walk MS or Bike MS
- Update your Facebook status with info about MS
- Share your story with the National MS Society
- Attend the Meet & Greet events with state legislators in Salt Lake City and Boise
- Sign-up to be a volunteer with the Society
- Put information about MS in your company break room

Join us and get to know them. We are hosting meet and greet events in both Utah and Idaho. These events are a great opportunity to meet your legislators, educate them about MS, and share your story of how MS impacts you. So make plans to be at the Capitol, join us for some cake, and get to know those who make policies with the potential to impact your life. Join us for this overview of MS, including how MS is diagnosed, what treatment options are available, and what common symptoms are. There will be plenty of time for questions. The Chapter has meetings from Boise, Idaho Falls and Nampa to Salt Lake City, Ogden, Price, Cedar City and St. George. These are a great way to get support and meet new people. Check our website to see if there is a group in your area. If not, consider starting one. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Brain Health Education Series: Adaptive Yoga Friday, March 18 Noon-1:00 p.m. University of Utah Imaging and Neurosciences Center 729 Arapeen Drive Salt Lake City The Utah-Southern Idaho Chapter is happy to partner with the University of Utah Imaging and Neurosciences Center to bring you monthly educational programs on topics relevant to those with a chronic neurological illness. This month, take an adaptive yoga class from certified adaptive yoga instructors. This is a great way to try out yoga if you never have before. All levels and abilities are welcome.
