Moments of Awareness

Most of the day is not particularly pleasant, with our emotions overheating and the material world rubbing us the wrong way, so when that bit of luck comes along at quarter to 7:00 AM MDT we’ll want to grab it and hang on to the pleasantness of it as a buffer to the challenges to come. It will be followed at twenty after 9:00 by an opportunity to combine our dreams and life philosophies in ways we’d never previously considered. The party’s over by 9:30 and the rest of the day we just have to relax and breathe our ways through. I’m tempted here to say, ‘grit our teeth and muddle through’, since it’s more that kind of day, but relaxing and breathing usually bring about better results in terms of helping us stay calm and peacefu
