Moments of Awareness

The Three of Wands has us checking and rechecking our beliefs today as faith is tested and we're presented with contracts and new partnerships. The focus is largely on business, companies, and documents. Expect the (favorable) unexpected.

The Nine of Swords indicates that where we're seeking to move in new directions we find ourselves impeded. We feel as though we're suffering for our ideals, bound by our causes, and unable to attain what we want or even need. Anxiety for the future requires that we actively remain present and maintain our bearing in the here and now.

The Moon card asks us to be careful of what it is we think we're seeing in the areas that matter most. We're likely to notice some internal disquiet as we explore fears and expectations regarding our current path, and since things may not be as they seem we'll do well to tread carefully. Intuition is a good guide as long as we apply reason to our conclusions before acting on them.

The Nine of Pentacles directs our attention to business concerns, moving up, and growing our enterprises. Prayer and/or meditation are appropriate here with an eye toward realizing positive change. Revitalization projects enjoy a boost under today's energy.

Silly Numpties are having an open house on Saturday September 13th to celebrate the opening of their tattoo parlor and art gallery. They will be raising money at this event that goes to a new non-profit called Camp Numpties which is a summer camp program for abused or neglected children. The Ace of Swords says today's focus is communication, thought, correspondence (in the space where the three collide). Ideas bring a sense of urgency, a feeling of pressure. As is always the case when there's tension involved, best to let it resolve to some degree and get a sense of appropriate direction before taking any drastic action.

The Knight of Wands tells us that yesterday's anxiety has not entirely cleared, but faith here will see us through to less stressful times. There's still a lot on our plates as we look to make decisions concerning our partnerships and our living and working spaces but at least we're seeing paths before us now. We'll do well to keep our documents in order and to record the day's important events.
