Energy of the Day Sunday, 11-02-08

The Four of Swords asks us to get writing in the form of letters, paperwork, charts and graphs, and advertising. We'll do well to get out and about, promote ourselves, and attend to new and renewed business. Charm and balance during social affairs bring great good fortune under today's energy.

Happy Hallowe'en :)...

... or Samhain or whatever the case may be for you on this night of celebration of the thinning of the veil. :) Love, Peace

Energy of the Day Saturday, 11-01-08

The Queen of Pentacles asks us to seek out a friend who understands and supports our hopes and wishes, and to clarify our dreams. This is a day of service to the greater good and compassion for our fellow man, and for verification of our processes through tangible results. Finance and profit figure strongly in today's choices.

Energy of the Day Friday, 10-31-08

The Three of Pentacles puts us to work with a focus on goals, words, and construction. Practical applications of energy are favored here, particularly paperwork, planning, and meetings. Today's activities set the tone for what is to come so care ought to be taken in how we approach them.

Energy of the Day Thursday, 10-30-08

The Knight of Pentacles has us getting out and promoting ourselves but we're thinking about the things closest to our hearts all the while. Real estate and property are in the forefront of our minds, especially as they relate to our lives, loves, and happiness. While our heads are in the clouds, our feet are planted firmly on the ground.

Energy of the Day Wednesday, 10-29-08

The Seven of Cups has us exploring change and renewal in our most attractive relationships and the areas of life in which we experience feelings of inadequacy or confusion. Where we are powerless we must find a way to surrender to whatever is greater than us, which may be one of the hardest things we ever have to do but which will also allow us to experience life in a completely new way at the deepest levels. The goal here is truth.

Energy of the Day Tuesday, 10-28-08

The Judgement card requires that we evaluate all aspects of life and make necessary changes where things are headed in a direction we deem inappropriate, particularly with regard to partnerships, purpose, business, and habits. Used well, today's heightened spiritual energy allows for improvements in every area; abused, it will leave us burned up and burned out. Can we criticize constructively or will we insist upon destruction?

Energy of the Day Monday, 10-27-08

The Sun rises once again, bringing focus to the people and activities around us and the part we play in our external world. Marriage and other unions are particularly highlighted as we move forward on our spiritual journey, and we justify our attitudes and beliefs through benevolent behavior. Image matters; will we simply be who we are, or will we choose to be our best selves?

"Sticks and stones...

"... may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." This is a mantra many of us grew up on, but somewhere along the way we realized that words can and often do hurt people and that realization has been parlayed into a politically-correct world in which words are given as much weight as actions. "Do as I say, not as I do," is the norm of late; we've forgotten all about, "Children Learn What They Live." It seems to me that as adults not only ought we be able to choose how words will be allowed to affect us, but that what we do still says far more about who we are than what we say.
