Daily Tarot Reading for Saturday, March 11, 2006

Happy birthday to Dude today. :-> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Today's card: Nine of Wands We've been in the fray and we're feeling bruised and battered, but the end has not quite yet arrived. Now it's a matter of courage, character, and perseverance. We can take a breather, but only in anticipation of the next round. (Weren't we just here? Well, with Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn all retrograde we can expect some funky skipping and jumping and odd repetition. My suggestion is to stay loose and take it as it comes.)

Daily Tarot Reading for Friday, March 10, 2006

Today's card: Two of Cups Yesterday we moved from the end of an old cycle to the beginning of a new one. Where there has been conflict surrounding our choices, we can expect to find the potential for reconciliation today. Balance is possible and even likely between the physical and spiritual.

Daily Tarot Reading for Thursday, March 9, 2006

Today's card: Wheel of Fortune Finally, an ending. The results are probably not what we think, but at least we're back at that place where we can make our choices and get started on a new cycle. This last go-round has brought us new ideas and new opportunities. It's time to pick up the best ones and start moving forward again.

THE LAST WORD

From: Stephanie 1. Thou shalt not worry, for worry is the most unproductive of all human activities. 2. Thou shalt not be fearful, for most of the things we fear never come to pass. 3. Thou shalt face each problem as it comes. You can handle only one at a time. 4. Thou shalt not cross bridges before you get to them, for no one yet has succeeded in accomplishing this. 5. Thou shalt not take problems to bed with you, for they make very poor bedfellows. 6. Thou shalt not borrow other people's problems. They can take better care of them than you can. 7. Thou shalt be a good listener, for only when you listen do you hear ideas different from your own. It's very hard to learn something new when you are talking. 8. Thou shalt not try to relive yesterday for good or ill -- it is gone. Concentrate on what is happening in your life today. 9. Thou shalt not become bogged down by frustration, for 50 percent of it is rooted in self-pity and will only interfere with positiv

Mr. Bush's Asian Road Trip - New York Times

From this article: "It's just baffling why Mr. Bush traveled halfway around the world to stand right next to one of his most important allies against terrorists — and embarrass him." Well... it's not really baffling. It's par for the course for this administration, and the really unfortunate part is that it's not really his worst faux pas. Still Evolving, Human Genes Tell New Story - New York Times

Science continually astounds me in it's ability to disregard the obvious until some 'astonishing' evidence rears it's head to make them aware of what any fifteen-year-old with an ounce of common sense could have told them. Still Evolving, Human Genes Tell New Story - New York Times

Daily Tarot Reading for Sunday, March 5, 2006

Today's card: Page of Cups Today a young Pisces-type personality is likely to offer insight regarding an unresolved situation. This will be useful information in terms of moving the issue toward materialization, but there's a ways to go before the creative ideas conceived today come to fruition. It will take time to sift out the illusions from that which is useful.
