B.B. King defies time | Voices.IdahoStatesman.com

ImageB.B. King is a blues legend. No doubt. But if you've seen him in concert before, you probably shouldn't expect much new at his show Feb. 27, 2011, at the Morrison Center. Heck, the press release sent out by the promoter uses a bio apparently written nearly a decade ago: "At age 76, he is still light on his feet, singing and playing the blues with relentless passion," it reads.

King is 85. Either way, I'm sure he'd find a little humor in all of this. I remember him once saying, "I will retire five to 10 years after I die."

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 3 for $45, $55 and $75 plus fees at Select-a-Seat.
