Many people who went to the race website www.robiecreek.com couldn’t access a link that took them to a registration site at Active.com. That’s because Robie’s newly designed site crashed shortly before noon.

“Our site went down and reverted back to the old site,’’ Robie committee member Brian Rencher said. “People still got in and got registered.’’

DIDN’T GET A RACE NUMBER?

A second-chance drawing is the next way for people to register for a race number, which are limited to about 2,300 because of the lack of space at Robie Creek Park, where the race finishes.
