Seeking Information
There was an accident around 8:45 Saturday night on Highway 21, a red truck hit a huge elk in the northbound lane. We didn't see it happen but were among the first to pass the aftermath. The big white truck behind us stopped at the scene and we called 911 as soon as we got into cell range. We're told that if we're not family police can't release information as to the condition of the driver and it didn't make the news. We'd just like to know, if anyone's aware, how the driver and any passengers are, and if you know them please pass along our best wishes for their well-being. That animal was massive and the truck was much the worse for wear.
