Welcome to Jaialdi on the Basque Block
5-11 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, July 27 and 28. Food, drink and strolling musicians. Free.

Amuma Says No at Alive After Five at the Grove in Downtown Boise
5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28. Free.

Basque Culture Conference, Egyptian Theatre
7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 28. “Euskal Herria Mugaz Gaindi” will be attended by prominent world experts in Basque immigration and feature presentations about surnames and baserris. Hosted by the Basque Studies Center at Boise State University. Free.

Annual NABO Pilota Tournament Semi-Finals
2-6 p.m. Thursday, July 29. Anduiza Fronton on the Basque Block. Free.

Sports Night at Qwest Arena
7 p.m. Thursday, July 29. Three weight lifters from Euskal Herria will be lifting cylinders weighing 250-400 pounds and balls weighing 250 pounds. Three wood choppers and 20 farm sports competitors will participate. Tickets $12 through www.qwestarenaidaho.com.

Basqueing on the Block at the Basque Block
Noon-6 p.m. Friday, July 30. Food, drink, strolling musicians. Free.

Annual NABO Pilota Tournament Finals
10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, July 30. Anduiza Fronton on the Basque Block. Free.

Festa’ra at the Morrison Center on the Boise State University campus
7 p.m. Friday, July 30. Two dance groups from the Basque Country, the Oinkari Basque Dancers, Biotzetik Basque Choir, bertsolariak and an interpretive performance by the Trey McIntyre project. Tickets $30 through www.idahotickets.com.

Basqueing at the Fairgrounds at Expo Idaho
10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, July 31. More than 36 dance groups from six Western states on two indoor stages. Vendors with unique novelties, souvenirs and clothing in the air-conditioned Expo building. Food and drink, sports events and sheep wagons. Tickets through www.idahotickets.com.

Mass at St. John’s Cathedral
7 p.m. Saturday, July 31. A traditional San Inazio Mass in Basque will feature the OƱati Dancers, who will perform on the St. John’s altar with the Oinkari Dancers. Free.

Street Dance at Expo Idaho Fairgrounds
9 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31. Music by Amuma Says No and other groups from the Basque Country. Tickets through www.idahotickets.com.

Basqueing at the Fairgrounds at Expo Idaho
