Weekly Horoscope, June 18-24, 2006

Please be sure to check the reading date, as postings will be made early much of the time. Current readings will always be posted at MOA.

Once again, Sunday is the most astrologically busy day of the week, starting off with a bit of timely communication which opens a door of opportunity in the first hour of the day. And of course we need to hang on to the pleasant feeling of that because the next few hours aren't so easy. Through the 1:00 hour (MDT) we move from annoyance to annoyance to annoyance to antagonism (and then back to annoyance during the 2:00 hour). So it's kind of nice when, just after 4:00 AM, we hit a roadblock with the illusory aspects of our current emotional state being reined in by the transformation of our philosophical outlook. It's always worthwhile to let an obstacle slow us down, and sometimes, as in this case, it's a downright relief. After a little growth spurt around twenty to 7:00, the Moon makes her last aspect before going void of course. This is a square with the Gemini Sun, as his self-expressive energy flares up and overshadows her cool dreamy intuition. This is a good time to stay calm and wait for the Moon's entrance into Aries at 11:54 to bring a bit of heat and light to our emotional state, wake us up a bit, send us forward with new impetus. She conjuncts the north node, moving direct just for today, almost immediately after this transition, and together they bring us an insightful understanding of new and improved directions for the energy we're sending into the future (not only our own futures but those of the generations to follow). This conjunction takes place exactly at 12:00 PM, and is followed just over a half hour later by an opposition between Leo's Mars and Aquarius' retrograde Chiron, giving us a space in which to create physical activity incorporating our karmic contributions to those future generations. We have the entire afternoon to work with this energy, and shortly after 3:00 some of these new ideas begin to show their rough edges. It's okay, we have plenty of time to refine and refinish them, and of course when is anything really finished anyway? The evening is a little turbulent up until Uranus turns retrograde at 10:26 PM, but the night ends on a high note with a bit of luck.

I need to take a hiatus for the time being, so Monday through Saturday will not likely be forthcoming, but I will say that this is a week with a lot of blockages going on, especially on Wednesday. The Moon, after going void of course at 2:21 PM Tuesday, enters Taurus at 3:22 bringing weight to our emotions. The Sun enters Cancer at 5:26 AM Wednesday, bringing those weighty emotions strongly to bear on our lives as a whole but at the same time putting up a wall around us that can either imprison or protect. The north node enters Pisces at 1:20 AM Thursday, so the legacies we're meant to leave are bolstered and expanded by our dreams but we must take care not to fall prey to illusion. That evening at 7:49 the Moon moves into Gemini after having been void of course since 5:45 and it's conjunction with Venus, thus taking us from a moment of sublime beauty into an energy appropriate for communicating it to others. Venus remains void of course after that same conjunction until she follows the Moon into Gem at 5:31 PM Friday, where she elevates our self-expressive energy to it's most attractive and fulfilling heights. Saturday is just a rather trying day, but the morning and evening each have bright spots we can hang onto for getting through the rough stuff. The more we make a point to enjoy, the better life always is.

As always, take good care folks.

Love,
Peace
