Sunday begins with a hint of dreamy magic shortly after the midnight hour, but there’s an unsettling heat behind it that warns us to take care in being too indulgent. Around 3:00 (MDT) when we find ourselves faced with an obstacle we can’t see a way through, we choose to go around and over, and the result is that we spend the rest of the morning and the early afternoon in expansive energy, dealing in the morning hours mostly with spiritual matters and moving around 1:00 to a bit more material focus. This brings us a bit of luck, but it’s important passing through it to remain focused on mental and intuitive energies. There will be a mild distraction around 2:00 but if we let it pass we’ll be back on level ground in no time and moving in a positive direction. This continues through the afternoon and evening, but about 10:30 things take a bit of a turn.

Monday is a Monday. Last night’s irritation carries over but the focus shifts from intuitive knowledge to more material concerns. From midnight to 7:30 there is challenge and discontent, and even when the tide seems to shift a little care must be taken to restrain desire. At 8:17 the Moon enters her home sign of Cancer, and while this is a comfortable placement for her it can feel overly emotional and a bit overwhelming for many people, especially after a morning like this one. Take an example from the Crab, dig in and chill out until the undertow lightens up. Fortunately, the rest of the morning is fairly astrologically quiet, but in the early afternoon there’s a funny little wall where it feels like our home and family are in the way of what we think we’re meant to do. We chew on this for the afternoon, and in the early evening we find ourselves feeling a little bit of everything in a rather unpleasant way. There’s progress to be made in smiling our way through it, but this energy carries through to the end of the day so it might be a good evening to spend in solitary pursuits where we’re less likely to rub or be rubbed the wrong way.

Yay! Tuesday comes in with a little less abrasive energy except for folks who are very uncomfortable moving too far out of their comfort zone. We’re still in a very emotional energy, and about quarter after 4:00 there’s a strong urge to take action in favor of or service to the family. Two and a half hours later we have a good chance to do just that – no reason not to – and the rest of the morning is pleasant. In the ten o’clock hour we have a lucky two-shot. We’ll want to enjoy that and carry it through the little bit of annoyance that accompanies 11:00. Just after noon, a conjunction of the Moon and Juno in Cancer asks us to take a critical look at our home and spend the afternoon and evening weeding out those feelings and behaviors that don’t serve us and our families well. If we’ve done this, there will be a point of clarity at 9:00 in which we can see what we’ve been pondering from an external perspective and make any last-minute touchups to our pruning job in preparation for the annexation that’s about to begin as we bring in new ideas and energies. The night ends on this note of progress and the trend continues into Wednesday morning.

Minutes after midnight there’s another point of clarity regarding the home, this one asking us to examine the ideals we prioritized yesterday. About three hours later our mental energies heat up and prepare us to move into the day with vigor. In the late morning parts of our new schema undergo a reworking and come out bigger than they were, but a little more than an hour later the heat of our progress comes up against cool intuition and we’re given the early afternoon to work the two toward harmony – and after a bump around 3:00 it works. The Moon moves into Leo at 5:18 bringing creative, playful energy strongly into the mix, and the evening and night flow smoothly, full of providence in love and in manifesting the future. Just before 3:30 Thursday morning fire wells up in our hearts and we are consumed with the will to do what must be done. Less than two hours later our dreams gain weight and presence, but by quarter to 8:00 we realize we must take the time to bring all the pieces together carefully if we wish the results to last. Should we choose to do so we’ll have the rest of the morning before a bit of turbulence sets in. (If we choose not to that’s fine but there’ll be no point in complaining when it falls apart.)

Around 11:30 we’ll do well to reign ourselves in rather than talk too much about new ideas, and about an hour later we’ll find ourselves feeling a bit removed from our friends and our purpose. It won’t hurt to take the afternoon to drift a bit and relax. Just before 4:00 the energy gets a little heated as we’re called upon to allow for the tearing down of old emotional dynamics to make way for something new. What that is will begin to take shape shortly after 5:00 although it’s unlikely we’ll be able to discern what it is for some time yet; when we figure it out we’ll realize that it’s more than just some passing fancy. This one is to do with our lasting contribution to the world. In the meantime, take care of the work that needs doing around the house, the little building project that’s been put off, and let everything else percolate. At 8:54 there’s a veritable explosion of energies, nearly all of them highly creative. The aspects between them are challenging but, used wisely, extremely positive. We’ll want to settle in for this one; it would be best if it didn’t catch us off guard. (At the same time too much anticipation can cancel out the original purpose of the moment so we want to be grounded, but not stuck.) A little more than an hour later we can expect to feel the restraint of physical reality settle into our creative state, but that needn’t be a hindrance.

Things are quiet until early Friday morning when a short period of enlightenment is altered just enough to become dissonance with what we’re attracted to and what we’re meant to leave in our wake as it’s sources. By about twenty after 6:00 however those two have come into a sort of harmony and stand out together as a motivating factor in our lives. About two hours later there’s a very pleasant sense of completeness as mind, body, and soul each find support from the cosmos in seeing both what must be done and what we would do well not to do. By 8:30 we see a disconnect between our lives and our dreams, but rather than being a problem it’s a good time to take an objective look at how we feel about what we’re working toward. We have the morning to do this before, just prior to noon, our focus shifts in the same vein to that which we desire to cultivate. (The subtle difference between wishes and things we wish to create is that on some level we realize that wishes come true don’t always have the result we expect, where things we grow are grown on purpose and while they may often have unexpected side shoots and may bear more or less fruit than we’d think, we have a pretty good idea what we’ve planted. The exercise of the past few hours has been weeding out those things the purpose of which we cannot see clearly.) A little after 1:00 we begin to see germination beginning at home, which continues throughout the afternoon and evening leading up to a nice warm patch of luck around 10:00 and good feelings about the new philosophies we’ve found ourselves embracing.

We swim in this until about twenty after 1:00 Saturday morning when fire and water mix it up a little, but where this might often be a mildly unpleasant occurrence, with a bit of care we’re likely to find that we can utilize this particular shakeup in making measurable progress in the areas that have had so much of our focus of late. We get about four hours in this energy before the Moon moves into Virgo and brings a bit of earth into the mix, offering substance and stability. About two hours later our perseverance has a little payoff as we find words that bring form to the legacy we’re seeking to create. Shortly after 8:30 we find ourselves in a highly analytical place in which we’d do well to give our emotions only just enough leeway, as too much will have us feeling heavy and stuck. The ten o’clock hour is enjoyable as we fill out and express with emotional weight our recent thoughts and ideas. This expansion takes a fortunate turn a little after 1:00, and continues in this vein until about a quarter to 3:00, when things get a bit heavy and our focus is turned to career for about an hour and a quarter, at which point our analysis turns inward and enough heat is applied to bring about evolution if we apply appropriate effort. Four and a half hours later our ideals as they apply to the home are tested and we spend the evening seeking not to be annoyed by our own analytical thinking. It’s best if we either dive all the way into it or do something to distract ourselves from it. Regardless, this is the note upon which our week ends. :->

As always, take good care folks.

Love,
Peace
