Energy of the Month

If we've taken full advantage of the element-cycle [update for all links (February 4, 2104): MOA T & A Glossary] we've just been through, this Leo Sun will bring a seemingly miraculous level of bounty. Aries dried our seeds, bringing clarity to the ideas contained within them and the beginnings of physical manifestation. In Taurus we northern hemispherians began the process of germination, growing roots and sprouts, following the heat to the light producing it while southerners' seeds were put away to sleep for the winter . Gemini taught us to breathe, to depend upon the air for life, to be symbiotic and those down under took this time to create dreams and possibilities. Cancer brought the rains and morning dew, snow in the south, refilling lakes and ponds and rivers and to some degree the water table. Now under Leo's Sun the hard work of spring and autumn are past and we're free to just relax and grow a while, just take what we like of what we find and make of it more of whatever we are, start thinking about buds and flowering no matter where we are. Under this energy there's no sense looking to hide anything. If something must remain out of sight, bury it well this month; even a thought will cast a shadow now and even a shadow will experience expansion and magnification. As Earth's stability is to the fluidity of the Moon, the Sun is chaos to the order of electromagnetic energy. Here in Leo the Sun is in his glory, and coming off the Moon's relatively calm and rhythmic tides this intensity can be shocking, even nearly overwhelming. Relax, lay low, play as much as possible so long as it doesn't require giving up inordinate amounts of sleep or getting overly worn out. Fortune always lies in the disciplined pursuit of passion, and this month those energies are underlined. If we utilize them wisely, specifically in reorganizing our dreams for maximum efficiency and effect, we'll see great growth and store up an amazing amount of potential.
