Sister Found

Rachelle [updated link (February 4, 2014): Rachelle Strauss] came into an email group of which I am a member (Natural Family Life) shortly after it got rolling, and her introduction made me sit up and take notice. As a Gem/Lib/Gem [updated link (February 4, 2014): MOA T & A Glossary] she's a wordsmith by nature, but it was her attitude, her light that drew me. There was something in it I recognized. Time went along as it is wont to do and at some point we started talking off-list. I found her to be wise and open, not only able but willing to delve into any subject with zeal and veracity, contradicting me when she felt the need as freely as she supported me where we agreed. Time continued going on as we explored our respective lives, sharing amazing likenesses and fascinating differences, learning and growing along the way often by leaps and bounds. Time came when there wasn't as much time for either of us and things went quiet a while, with just the occasional, "Hi, How ya doin', All's well here, Love you," passing between us, Pees to Karuts, Karuts to Pees, but that and an astral picnic here and there are enough sometimes for spirit siblings and I never felt as though, if the need arose, she wouldn't be there.

Time has continued to move forward - no stopping it of course - and our conversation continues to ebb and flow as life permits. My love for this soul-sister, this Rae of light in my life, grows with every passing day and each fleeting thought (thoughts of her are always fleeting, befitting her ethereal nature, but they often come in barrages that make it seem as though she's been around a whole minute or two :) ). Through her I've come to love her soul mate and life partner, Richard, and their lovely, loving, lovable daughter, named Verona because they liked the sound of it. (They would find out later that Verona means 'truth', the very basis of their relationship. :) ) As time goes on from here there'll be more to share of all of them, but for now this is all you get of my sister across the sea.
